From the official website of the anime Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou, adaptation of the light novel written by Ryo Shirakome and illustrated by Takayaki, has been revealed that the second season of the series will premiere in January 2022. In addition, the same website published a promotional image.
Akira Iwanaga will be the director of the anime under the animation studio Asread, while Shoichi Sato will be in charge of the script. Chika Kojima will design the characters.
The first season premiered on July 8, 2019 and had 13 episodes.
