Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball, has died at the age of 68


The official Dragon Ball English Twitter account has revealed that Akira Toriyama, creator of the famous Dragon Ball manga, has passed away at the age of 68 due to a subdural hematoma.


According to the announcement, Akira Toriyama passed away on March 1. Only his family and a few relatives were present at the funeral. In addition, following Toriyama's wishes, no flowers, visitors or gifts will be accepted.

Akira Toriyama was a mangaka well known for his works Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball, the latter being the most famous and remembered by many fans who followed the story of Goku from child to adult.
